The Superhub project will turn uninspiring spaces into interesting and usable places, combining more inviting bus shelters with attractive public realm and complementary facilities for both bus users and the wider Manor Royal community.
The idea of seeking to enhance bus stops within Crawley came from Manor Royal BID and our aspiration to enhance the public realm at key gateways into the Business District.
Manor Royal Central is the first planned Superhub. It is a busy westbound bus stop in a highly visible from both directions along Manor Royal road and from Faraday Road.
More than a bus stop, the Superhub team is transforming this space into something more inspiring, usable and eye-catching, with a fantastic new bespoke, bigger shelter, public art, new seating and planting.
Work is taking place between 19 May and 26 June for 5 weeks with bus diversions in place (see below).
This project is part funded by the Crawley Growth Programme, Crawley Towns Fund and Manor Royal BID who have led on the project, which is informed by the Manor Royal Projects Pack
